I know you are like Rs.150? I know you are laughin at me now, but you won't laugh when you're someone who receives Rs.1000 pm as pocket money.
So I was out to see Rock On!!! today with my friends. We had some trouble getting the tickets, and unfortunately the movie wasn't worth it. Rishi and I bought Metro
tokens for the District Centre, Janakpuri. We were at the platform, joined by 'Chuppi'[Kshitij], 'Bedi'[Arpit], 'Bhoot'[Vibhuti], & Manan, when Dakshay called up to tell the show was at 10:10. 10 minutes left. No way we were gonna make it. So we decide to shift the programme to Waves, Raja Garden. Some use of the Rs.20 tokens huh? So now we are at Waves. Show sold out. Nea we still arent irritated, bunch of easy going guys. So we move our bums to the metro station again, our destination Fun Cinemas, Moti nagar this time. Tickets are available, for the 12:30 show. Two hours? We took it. We spend about an hour and a half at a fast food joint in the mall, and I smugly noticed none of the citizenry seated there had ordered anything. All were here for the show. Show starts, I yawn. Before the show, during the show, after the show. The movie was typically Indian. A talented band breaks up and then re-unites after a few years, and ofcourse one of the band members die. The only thing different was, The BAND! As bedi put it, "Agar movie ke beech mei gaane na hote to banda behosh ho jaye."
We come out of the hall and discuss a bit. Manan and I leave early as we both have some work to tend to. Back on the metro again, a flabby guy moved right past me to have a clear view of a girl sitting with her friend on the metro floor. I point this out to Manan and we start laughing. The guy eyes us suspisciously but then continues staring. "Bas bahut ho gaya tharki!" Manan tells to nobody in particular but it brings the pleasant dream of the guy to an abrupt halt. Manan and I bid adieus to each other and go our own way. I come back home do some important work I remembered, get reprimanded by my mother and after some time start writing my blog.

Rock on would have been better had it not been Dil Chahta hai in a different vein. Killing a band mamber was the coup de grace.
But still, I liked the movie coz the underlying theme..to pursue you dreams...is almost inspiring..
And I liked Arjun Rampal :P

dunno i havent seen any good movie after jodha akbar...
